I am Wm. Cory Jeffries, LMT, NMT a Nationally Certified and a State of Florida Licensed Massage Therapist specializing in Swedish, Sports, Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular Therapy and Reflexology.
I graduated from Atlantic Academy School of Massage - New Symrna Beach FL and have worked in both private practice and in medical clinical settings with DO's, DC's, PT's and Acupuncturist for the past 12 years.
As your LMT, I will incorporate a variety of styles and traditional approaches to massage and am known for being able to tune into the needs of his clients one body at a time. I can identify effective ways to actively reduce stress and tension, and am passionate about offering the art and science of massage to you, the client.
I have harnessed my passion for Massage into a teaching capacity when I moved to Tampa 3 years ago and am currently an Instructor for FMU School of Massage Therapy. Teaching massage keeps me current in the field and challenges me to apply new and different techniques to my massage practice daily.

My principal philosophy of massage therapy is that it is the act of manipulating the soft tissues of the body to normalize said tissues. Massage has been shown to be helpful in conditions ranging from fibromyalgia to acute soft tissue injuries. A session usually involves applying touch with some degree of pressure, so that the practitioner must use touch with sensitivity to determine the optimal amount of pressure appropriate for each person. Because I believe that touch is also a form of communication, sensitive touch can convey a sense of caring, which is an essential element in the therapeutic relationship. This in turn is opitimized in your session with your needs at the heart of the session. I will be the massage therapist that gives YOU the session you want!
